About Vane
Vane makes field service software for small trades and service businesses: scheduling, jobs, quotes and invoicing, team chat, and QuickBooks bookkeeping, in one place that the office and the crew both use.
Who we are
Vane is an independent software company based in Maryland, founded by Justin Smith. We're small on purpose: every business that uses Vane is set up and supported by us directly, not through a reseller or a ticket queue.
Justin has spent his career in cybersecurity and holds a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and a master's degree in cyber operations. That's why every Vane customer runs on its own isolated server, with encrypted backups.

Vane is developed in partnership with Red Desert Technology, an established managed IT services provider in Riverton, Wyoming (ctsolutions.pro). Red Desert runs its day-to-day work on Vane: scheduling technicians, tracking jobs, and invoicing through QuickBooks. Much of what's in the product came straight from their feedback.
How Vane runs
Each business gets its own private workspace at its own address (yourcompany.vane.work), on its own server, with nightly encrypted backups. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. We never sell or share customer data; see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
